Early Life and Career

Alfred Joel "Al" Horford Reynoso was born on June 3, 1986, in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. He began playing basketball at an early age and quickly developed into one of the top prospects in the country. After graduating from high school, Horford attended the University of Florida, where he was a key member of back-to-back NCAA championship teams in 2006 and 2007.

NBA Journey

Horford was selected third overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2007 NBA draft. He quickly established himself as a versatile forward known for his strong defense, rebounding, and passing ability. Horford helped lead the Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2015, earning his first All-Star selection.
