New 1-Mbit SPI Serial SRAMs with SDI and SQI Interface from Microchip Technology
High-Performance, Low-Power Memories Offer a Versatile Solution for Storage Applications
Chandler, Arizona – Microchip Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: MCHP) today announced the expansion of its serial SRAM portfolio with the introduction of the 23A1024LC1024 1-Mbit SPI Serial SRAM devices. These new devices offer a versatile solution for storage applications that require high performance, low power consumption, and a small footprint.
The 23A1024LC1024 devices are organized as 131,072 words by 8 bits and feature a 20 MHz clock rate for all modes, making them ideal for use in high-speed applications. The devices also feature a low-power CMOS design, which helps to extend battery life in portable applications.
The 23A1024LC1024 devices are available in a compact 8-SOIC package, which makes them ideal for use in space-constrained applications. The devices are also pin-compatible with existing SPI serial SRAMs, which makes it easy to upgrade existing designs.
"The 23A1024LC1024 devices are a great addition to our serial SRAM portfolio," said Randy Drwinga, vice president of Microchip's memory products division. "These devices offer a unique combination of high performance, low power consumption, and a small footprint, making them ideal for a wide range of storage applications."
